Saunarantti = Basturang = Sauna + Restaurang !
Saunarantti (sauna + restaurant) is a truly unique concept in Parainen, right by the southern shores of the Airisto bay. You can reach us from Turku in just 45 minutes by either car or boat.
We can offer you and your guests a real smoke sauna - recommended by The International Smoke Sauna Club nonetheless - as well as a refreshing dip in our hot-water tubs. We were the first to offer this type of tubs in the archipelago area. After the sauna experience, dinner is served; classic treats from the charcoal BBQ or house specialties prepared in the smoke sauna.
This is how we do it
An evening at Saunarantti:
Afternoon arrival. We start with a welcoming drink, some fun and games at the Saunarantti (e.g. axe throwing and darts), a small snack bite of salmon prepared in the smoke sauna and some authentic, dark archipelago bread. After that there’s time for sauna and bathing, dinner will be prepared while the most enthusiastic guests are still bathing. The evening could end with dinner and transfer to a hotel or continue elsewhere - it’s all up to you!
Business meeting at Saunarantti:
Morning arrival. Coffee and a hearty breakfast roll followed by the meeting itself in our cottage. A soup lunch is served midday, either on the pier terrace or by an open fire in a Lapp cot (depending on season). The meeting continues in the afternoon, after that a salmon snack bite is served and the sauna is warm.
